Vikramaditya Singh, the Himachal Pradesh Cabinet Minister and son of the late Virbhadra Singh, who was the longest-serving Chief Minister, has confirmed his second marriage following the viral spread of his wedding invitation on social media.
The 35-year-old Minister for Public Works will marry Amreen Kaur, an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Panjab University in Chandigarh, on September 22.
After the wedding card gained attention online, Vikramaditya Singh took to social media to share an AI-generated image featuring himself and his fiancée, expressing gratitude for the love and blessings he has received.
He wrote, “I am deeply thankful to the people of Himachal Pradesh for their affection, blessings, and good wishes… The 75 lakh residents of the state are like family to us,” while confirming the wedding date with hashtags #22September and ‘Jai Shri Ram’. Notably, an AI-generated image included a black dog beside the couple, which attracted considerable attention.
His post quickly amassed 13.5K likes, 3.5K comments, and 161 shares within two hours, showcasing his popularity. Observers note that both the public and media closely follow his activities.

Currently, Vikramaditya Singh serves as the PWD Minister in the Himachal Pradesh government, representing the Shimla (Rural) constituency as a Congress MLA. He is the son of the late Virbhadra Singh, who served as Chief Minister six times, and Pratibha Singh, the current state Congress chief and former Lok Sabha MP.
This marks his second marriage; he was previously married to Sudarshana Singh, a member of the former royal family of Rajasthan, in March 2019, but they separated in 2020.
